It seems hard to believe but it's been over two months since my last update, during that time I hope that you all had a lovely restful Christmas and New Year.
It's full steam ahead now though and the first deliveries of the New Year are now arriving. We've already taken delivery of lots of the newly renamed KnitPro needles, as well as several new shades of Lang Jawoll yarn. Due for delivery in the second week of February is the scrummy new Mini-Mochi yarn from Crystal Palace Yarns, I've been lucky enough to have a play with this yarn and I can promise you won't be disappointed, it's absolutely divine.

Posted on Sunday Nov 30 0:10:00 GMT 2008 The weather here has been truly terrible today with temperatures hovering around the 0⁰ mark all day, but I’m not complaining, I love any excuse to stay at home and get snuggly with my fur babies. It’s also given me the opportunity to do a massive website update. As well as adding lots of brand new ranges (Lulu’s Yarns, Araucania, Namaste), I’ve also added a lot of new Trekking yarns, including some beautiful Pro Natura shades at a bargainous price!
The cold weather and a big glass of mulled wine have really got me in the Christmasy spirit and as Christmas was a complete wash out for us last year due to illness I’m going to make sure that the festive season is extra special this year, so to get the ball rolling I’ll be offering a whopping 20% off everything in the store (excluding KnitPicks) between 6pm and 10pm GMT tonight, Sunday 30th November. For those looking for a knitting bag this Christmas we have a very small number of Namaste Everyday Bags available, they're not on the site yet but they should hopefully be listed in the next few days. These gorgeous bags are made from animal friendly faux leather and measure a whopping 40cm x 20cm x 25cm. I currently have the following colours available but stock is very very limited:

Alison x Posted on Tuesday Oct 28 0:00:00 GMT 2008  What a week! In the last few days we've received a full delivery of Denise Needles & Organizers (pictured above), a selection of Shawl Sticks from Knitcellaneous as well as our very first KaratStix delivery, and there's still more to come!
This week we're expecting deliveries from KnitPicks and Nancy's Knit Knacks as well as lots of other goodies including Louet Gems Fingering Weight Yarn, a selection of Namaste Bags, UK Alpaca Sock Yarn, Artesano Alpaca Hummingbird DK Sock Yarn plus much much more.
As you'd expect it's going to take a little while to get everything up onto the site but I'm hoping to have the vast majority of the stuff on by Friday. If, however, I've mentioned something that takes your fancy but you haven't seen it listed yet, give me a shout and I'll push it to the front of my To Do list.
On a final note, we have a couple of discount codes floating around in the cyber world at the moment, both of which are due to expire this Friday so why not take the opportunity to do a little gift shopping.
